Sacred Shuffle
Sacred Shuffle is a joyful depiction of three Nuns breaking into dance, inspired by the theme GoodTime. This isn’t a spiritual surrender rooted in stillness but is instead guided by rhythm and illuminated by the disco ball. This work examines the idea of religious reverence and what happens when we allow playfulness to exist in spaces seen as restrained. This panting does not mock faith but is instead, exploring the ecstatic joy within it.
